A recent contract lift in Belper, Derbyshire, was successfully completed with the support of LGH. Gerrard Cranes contacted LGH to provide equipment for relocating concrete blocks and facilitating the loading of a redundant MEWP and forklift for the client.
The Challenge
Our customer needed to move around 35 concrete blocks, each weighing 1,400kg and measuring 1.5 x 0.6 meters, in their yard. Due to limited access to some of the blocks, they opted to use a compact grab attachment that could efficiently manoeuvre within tight spaces.
The Solution
LGH provided support for the project by supplying certified and ready-to-use block grabs. The compact size of these grabs was ideally suited to the tight spaces, facilitating the efficient movement of concrete blocks and ensuring timely completion of the job.
