Electric Chain Hoists

Hire an electric chain hoist for powered lifting, positioning and holding where a manual hoist would be too slow or physically demanding. LGH supplies tested and certified equipment for short installations, planned maintenance and longer shutdowns. Hiring gives you the required capacity and height of lift for the project without the capital cost or responsibility for ongoing examination between jobs.

The fleet covers 110V single-phase and 415V three-phase supplies, with capacities from 0.25t to 3t. A 110V CM Lodestar suits general site work where power is supplied through a site transformer. A 415V Yale CPE can suit heavier duty cycles or longer lifts where a permanent three-phase supply is available. Standard lift heights are held in stock, with longer configurations available through the hire desk.

Specify the total suspended weight, not only the nominal load: include the hoist arrangement, slings, shackles and other rigging below the hook. Then confirm the available power supply and measure the required hook travel, allowing a margin. LGH can supply beam clamps, trolleys and lifting accessories on the same order.
