Air Chain Hoists
Air chain hoists use compressed air rather than electricity, making them well suited to wet, dusty and demanding industrial environments. Their air motors support continuous-duty operation without the heat limitations associated with many electric motors, while variable-speed control helps with precise load positioning. LGH's JDN PROFI hire range covers working load limits from 0.25t to 100t.
The range covers maintenance lifting through to heavy petrochemical and offshore applications. Ultra-low monorail hoists are available where headroom is restricted, and standard height of lift is 3 metres with longer configurations available to specification. Push or geared trolleys can be included so the hoist is matched to the supporting beam and required travel.
A pneumatic hoist needs a clean, regulated air supply at the correct pressure and volume, plus the required maintenance unit. LGH can also supply air distributors and hoses. For Zone-classified or potentially explosive areas, provide the site classification before ordering and verify that the exact hired model carries the required certification; the absence of electrical controls alone is not sufficient proof of suitability.
