We congratulate Lee Kelly on his new appointment as UK Sales Manager at LGH UK. In this pivotal role, Lee will lead and manage our dynamic sales team towards the business goals, building a solid project pipeline. With Lee’s extensive managerial experience and commitment, we firmly believe that he will be a driving force in propelling LGH to its next milestones.

As Lee enters his first month as UK Sales Manager, we had the opportunity to sit down with him for a Q&A session. We discussed his aspirations for his new role and gained valuable insight into his experience thus far.

How long have you been working at LGH?

I joined LGH in July 2022 as Key Account Manager responsible for progressing and building relationships to Tier 1 contactors and large subcontractors whereby we can support them as a lifting partner on upcoming projects.  LGH Lifting would provide solutions and equipment for bespoke and specialist lifting requirements within their UK operations and EU.

 

What are your career achievements so far?

My main achievement so far is my promotion to UK Sales Manager, a role I am determined to succeed in.

 

What industries have you worked in?

Throughout my career I have worked across a variety of industries from Hygiene, Tyres; including Fast-fit, wholesale and manufacturing, Hire; Plant & Tools, Survey and Access, to FinTech, Commercial Washrooms and now Lifting. 

 

What experience are you bringing to this role?

With many years working within the Hire and Construction industry I have developed a firm understanding of what the customer is looking for, the standard they expect and the challenges they face.  With over 20 years of Sales Management experience, I bring a proven track record of generating new business and revenue growth.

 

What are your short-term plans in your new role?

To deliver the company strategic objectives through increased customer enquiries and orders through customer retention and growth.

 

What are you looking forward to the most?

Seeing my Sales team have a successful year and growing their customer base.
